PACES Daycare is committed to providing high quality care for infants and toddlers of young parents, as well as infants and toddlers of community members. The day care center is a place where children can feel a sense of respect, security, approval, and affection. Children will receive individual attention from professional educators who recognize each child’s unique emotional and social needs. Educators guide children in kind, respectful ways which promote autonomy, self-esteem, self-control, and positive social behaviour.
We believe that a quality environment for children also promotes mutual respect and support for families. A daycare enhances and does not replace the importance of families. As much as possible, care for children will respect and support the culture and religion of the child’s family. PACES respects, reflects, and promotes the inclusion of all people. We are enriched by diversity amongst our community, our staff and our children.
PACES has an open door policy regarding visiting and encourages parents and families to spend time with their children in the daycare. We invite families to read our parent boards, newsletters, and weekly planning and snack schedules and to provide us with any feedback they may have.
